This painting captures a stretch of the San Diego coastline at sunset—the bluffs trailing off into the distance, the beach catching the last light of the day. It was commissioned by an old client of my mom’s, and like many of my pieces, it became more than just a landscape. It’s a reflection of where I come from, and where painting has taken me.

I didn’t always plan to be an artist. I started in 2021, just trying to fill some empty space in my apartment. I’d always been creative, but my background was in aerospace engineering—something that still shapes how I think about space, flow, and structure. Over time, painting grew from a side project into a full-time practice.

Now, I paint what draws me in: nature, animals, the ocean, space—places where emotion and energy live just under the surface. Through commissions, murals, and personal pieces, I try to capture the quiet kind of magic that’s easy to miss, but always there.
